The spirit of night has long been an inspiration to countless composers; it’s characteristics serving as a perfect bed for both wistful and occasionally tumultuous composition. Performing from the Imperial Hall at the Würzburg Residence, Jan Lisiecki presents a piano recital that focuses on works which have either been written in dedication to, or over the duration of the night.
